It is becoming more evident that Michelle Obama is teaching her daughters to be just like her. While on vacation in Italy, Michelle dressed blatantly inappropriate to thumb her nose at the Catholic religion as she visited an ancient cathedral. The same disrespect for religious places continued when Obama visited the Tirta Empul Hindu Temple in Indonesia.
Barack and Michelle Obama spent 8 years trying to convince the citizens of the United States that they are Christian, since that’s what this country wants. The actual religious beliefs of the Obama family however, are suddenly becoming more clear.
Asian customs are most prevalent at their places of worship, such as the Tirta Empul Hindu Temple. Worship is taken very seriously as they pray to their god, Vishnu. Part of Hindu custom culture is to show great respect for their god by wearing a sarong. Temple workers hand a sarong to visitors as they enter the Hindu holy house.
Michelle used the highly spiritual moment to try to make a fashion statement, and taught her daughters to do the same.

Her little sis, Malia, looked just as cool as she also wore the yellow sarong around her waist, over a black tank, which she paired with white sneakers. A baseball cap and sunglasses rounded out her look — and they totally took a tip from their fashionable mom, Michelle!”
